Glam Snow Photoshoot – Mount Hood

This past winter, I wanted to do a snow shoot in a Prom type dress BADLY!! I called up my friend Katie and asked if she would be willing to model for us in one of her old Prom dresses and she said yes! What I didn’t tell her was that it would be outside in about 30 degree weather…

It was such a fun shoot with another local photographer friend, Hue Harshaw, where we headed up to Mount Hood for some fun in the snow. While it was cold, it didn’t feel quite as bad as I thought it might, which is always a bonus. While I wasn’t cold since I was wearing a sweatshirt and everything, Katie was a complete bad ass since I’m sure it was a lot colder for her than it was for us. The photos turned out amazing despite us not being able to make it to the exact location that we were looking to be at. Also, thank goodness for 4WD on cars or else things could have gone south for this shoot real quick. The car maybe started moving sideways at one point thanks to some smooth driving skills by yours truly…. But we all made it out alive!!

Cannot wait until next year when there are even bigger plans for Mount Hood!
