Hazyl’s senior portrait session was nothing short of extraordinary! She drove all the way from Kelso, Washington—about an hour’s drive—to work with me, and I couldn’t have been more honored to capture this special milestone for her. From urban charm in downtown Vancouver to breathtaking views at the Columbia River Gorge, Hazyl’s session was filled with beauty, personality, and unforgettable moments.

We started in downtown Vancouver, Washington, where Hazyl wore a stunning pink outfit that popped perfectly against the cityscape. The urban backdrop brought a modern, vibrant feel to her portraits, and Hazyl’s radiant energy made every shot come alive.

Next, Hazyl wanted to incorporate her Scottish-inspired “Fling” outfit, which led us to a location that echoed the rocky terrain of Scotland. The rugged textures and natural tones of this spot created a striking, dramatic vibe. Hazyl looked incredible in her Fling outfit, and this part of the session was so unique and personal to her story.

As the day transitioned into golden hour, we made our way to the cliffs of the Columbia River Gorge. The dramatic views and the pink and purple hues of the surrounding cliffs at sunset were absolutely magical. Hazyl wore flowing dresses that perfectly complemented the ethereal atmosphere, creating portraits that felt straight out of a fairytale. Driving out to the Gorge was so worth it for these stunning moments—the scenery paired with Hazyl’s grace and elegance made for unforgettable images.
