The
Carissa’s senior session was such a beautiful mix of movement, personality, and golden light. We included so many pieces of who she is—from her passion for dance to her sweet pup—and explored several amazing locations around Vancouver, Washougal, and Camas, Washington to bring it all together.
We started downtown in Vancouver, WA where Carissa wore her dance uniform for some portraits that celebrated something that’s been a huge part of her life. I always love capturing dance senior photos because they’re not only beautiful but also really meaningful. She brought so much grace and strength to these images, and the city backdrop gave it just the right contrast.
From there, we headed over to Washougal for some more relaxed, casual looks. Carissa wore jeans and some easygoing tops, and we got to include her dog in this part of the session, which I always love! Senior photos with dogs are some of my favorites because they instantly make the session feel more personal and fun. Her pup was so sweet and definitely added to the energy of the shoot.
As the sun started dipping lower, we made our way to a field where Carissa wore an ivory cream-colored dress. The golden light was pouring through the grass, and it made the whole scene feel soft and dreamy. These portraits felt so timeless, and the warm tones made this part of her gallery extra special.
We finished the evening out in Camas, Washington, where Carissa wore a green dress along one of the walkways tucked into the natural scenery. The colors here worked so well with the final bit of daylight, and it was such a peaceful way to end the session.
Carissa, thank you so much for such a fun and beautiful session! You brought so much light and personality to every single location. I hope your senior year is filled with amazing memories—you deserve
