Gabriella’s senior portrait session was such a joy to capture! With a perfect mix of urban and natural backdrops, her session highlighted her personality, style, and passion for dance. From casual city shots to elegant golden-hour moments in the tall grasses of Battle Ground, Washington, every location brought its own magic to the day.

We started in downtown Vancouver, Washington, where Gabriella wore a classic white top and jeans. The casual outfit paired beautifully with the modern cityscape, creating fresh, timeless portraits that reflected her laid-back and approachable vibe.

Next, Gabriella changed into a pink top and her Canby dance uniform, and her energy truly came alive. Capturing her in the city with these meaningful pieces felt so personal and fun, showcasing her love for dance and the confidence it inspires in her.

As the day moved toward golden hour, we headed to a rocky river location for a dramatic change of scenery. Gabriella wore a gorgeous pink dress that stood out beautifully against the rocks and flowing water. The soft light reflecting off the river added a dreamy, ethereal quality to her portraits, making this one of the most breathtaking parts of the session.

To finish the evening, we traveled to a tall grass field in Battle Ground, Washington. Gabriella brought two stunning dresses—one black, one white—both designed with incredible movement that added a sense of elegance and freedom to her portraits. The golden light filtering through the grasses combined with the flowing fabric of her dresses created the perfect ending to an amazing day.
