Kaya’s Senior Photos in Vancouver and Camas | Class of 2025

Columbia River High School | Vancouver Washington and Camas Washington Senior Photographer

Kaya’s senior session was the perfect combination of modern city locations and beautiful outdoor scenery. We started in downtown Vancouver, Washington before heading to Camas to finish the evening with river views, rolling hills, and golden sunset light. I always enjoy sessions that include several different locations because they create so much variety, and Kaya’s gallery is a great example of how changing outfits and scenery can completely change the feel of a session.

We started the afternoon in downtown Vancouver where Kaya wore a blue top paired with white pants. The clean sidewalks, modern buildings, and urban details gave her portraits a fresh, stylish look. Downtown Vancouver always offers so many great backdrops within a short walking distance, making it easy to create a gallery with lots of variety.

For her second outfit, Kaya changed into a white top, jean skirt, and Adidas sneakers for a more casual look. This outfit fit perfectly with another downtown location and brought a fun, relaxed feel to her senior pictures. Casual outfits like this are always a great choice because they reflect everyday style while still looking polished in photos.

Next, Kaya put on her Columbia River High School letterman jacket for a few portraits against a simple white wall. I always encourage seniors to bring something that represents their high school experience, whether it’s a letterman jacket, sports uniform, or another meaningful item. These photos become some of the most memorable images in the gallery because they celebrate such an important part of senior year.

From there, we headed to Camas for a completely different look. Kaya changed into a floral dress, and we photographed along a beautiful rocky river that I had not used in several years. It was so fun returning to this location because the combination of the water, rocks, and surrounding greenery created such a peaceful setting. The floral dress complemented the natural scenery perfectly and gave these portraits a soft, timeless feel.

As the evening continued, Kaya changed into a simple white dress for photos in the tall grasses on a hillside. The warm sunset light shining through the field created beautiful golden tones and added so much depth to the images. Open fields like this are always one of my favorite places to photograph during the last hour before sunset.

We wrapped up the session with Kaya wearing a bright orange dress on a trail surrounded by trees and lush greenery. The rich colors of the dress stood out beautifully against the natural backdrop, and the soft evening light gave us the perfect finish to an already incredible session. Ending in the woods added one more unique location to her gallery and completed a collection of senior portraits with so much variety.

Kaya, thank you so much for such a fun evening exploring Vancouver and Camas together! I loved seeing each outfit bring a different style to your session, and every location added something special to your gallery. I hope you have an amazing senior year and wish you all the best in everything ahead!
