We only work with a team of artists that are skilled in delivering you the exact look so that you never have to worry about not looking like yourself or wearing too much makeup; they know exactly what to do so that all of your photos turn out perfectly right out of camera.

• Skincare Prep:
  In the weeks leading up to your session, stay hydrated and maintain a simple skincare routine. Don’t change up your skin care routine! This can cause unwanted breakouts.
• Hair Care:
  We recommend you AVOID any major hair changes leading up to your session! Don’t risk your hair cut or coloring going wrong and now all of a sudden you don’t like any of your senior photos…
• Makeup Tips:
  Aim for makeup that enhances your features without overpowering them. Avoid overly shiny products, and carry blotting paper or translucent powder on the day of your shoot for quick touch-ups.
• Gentlemen’s Grooming:

On the day of your session, there are a few logistics to keep in mind for a seamless experience:

1. Plan for Traffic & Parking
   When shooting in popular spots in Vancouver, Washington or Portland, Oregon, traffic and parking can be unpredictable. Aim to arrive 15 minutes early to account for any delays. When you book with SBP, we make sure that we time this for you and only use locations that will allow us to photograph your senior photos without any stress.    Bring a water bottle and light snacks. A hydrated body and a content stomach will help keep your energy up during the shoot. Most of our photoshoots for every senior that we work with last well through dinner time during the summer.
3. Bring the Essentials
   Pack extra hair ties, bobby pins, makeup for touch-ups, comfortable shoes (especially if we’re walking to multiple locations), and any props or personal items you’ve chosen. When you book with us, we have all of the essentials on hand for you!
