Shakira’s Senior Photos in Portland I Class of 2024

Do I sing “Shakira! Shakira!” from Hips Don’t Lie most every time that I see Shakira for her senior photos? Absolutely!

A couple years prior to Shakira’s photos I had the pleasure of working with her sister for her senior portraits! One of the things that I challenged myself to do was to make sure that we got completely different looks for the both of their photos. After all, I pride myself in making sure that each senior session is unique.

When we stumbled upon this mural with tons of graffiti, I knew that we just had to photograph on it! There aren’t too many spots in Portland, Oregon that look like this and the fact that it just so happened to match the top that Shakira was wearing for her senior portraits was the cherry on top.

And when we headed to the nature spots, we even found a field with tons of white flowers that also doubles as a little par 3 golf course which I will be coming back to… More on that in the vlog!
