We’re back on the blog and this time we’ve got Julie up! I was so excited to be working with Julie for her senior session ever since I had the pleasure of doing her sister’s senior photos a couple years ago. Her family is one of the nicest families that you’ll ever meet and I had such a wonderful time getting to work with them again. For Julie’s session, we started out the session in downtown Vancouver Washington by doing her makeup and then we decided to do a mix of some urban and natural looks in downtown Portland Oregon. What I loved about this was that we got completely unique looks since everywhere downtown Portland looks so unique and led to her having photos that were different than all of her friend’s photos. I will apologize for making Julie hike into a field to get the last bit of sunny goodness, but hopefully she forgives me since the images were incredible… You’ll have to tune into the vlog to know what I’m talking about.

The one thing that I loved about this session was at Julie’s image premiere and ordering session, I found out that their dog a couple years ago when they were a puppy had gotten to her sister’s photo album and shredded it. With the help of Julie and her sister Jackie, I was able to recreate the album and surprise their mom with it. I loved doing this as I know how important these photos and your archive quality photo products are and didn’t want anything to stand in the way of them having these forever.
